Tri-Fold Brochures

Tri-fold brochures — also known as letter-fold brochures — are one of the most widely used marketing formats worldwide. Two folds create six panels, giving you generous space to organise information into clear sections while keeping the brochure compact enough to fit in a DL envelope or a display rack.

At Perklets Print, we produce high-quality tri-fold brochures that are perfect for menus, service guides, product catalogues, tourist information, event guides, and more. The six-panel layout naturally guides the reader through your content in a logical sequence.

Our tri-fold brochures are printed on premium art paper with your choice of finishing. The standard option uses 170 GSM with matt or gloss lamination, while premium options include heavier stocks and soft-touch or spot UV finishes for an elevated look and feel.

FAQs: Tri-Fold Brochures

What is a tri-fold brochure?

A tri-fold (letter-fold) brochure has two parallel folds creating 6 panels. One panel folds inward, then the other folds over it. This is the classic brochure format used for menus, service lists, and marketing handouts.

Does a tri-fold brochure fit in a DL envelope?

Yes, an A4 tri-fold brochure folds down to approximately 99 x 210 mm, which fits perfectly in a standard DL envelope for mailing.

What is the difference between tri-fold and Z-fold?

Both have 6 panels, but the fold direction differs. A tri-fold has one panel folding inward (letter fold), while a Z-fold has panels folding in alternating directions like a zigzag, allowing the brochure to open as a single wide sheet.

Can I use a heavier paper stock?

Yes, we offer 200 GSM, 250 GSM, and 300 GSM options. Heavier stocks give a more premium feel but may require scoring at fold lines to ensure crisp, clean folds.
