Spiral Bound Catalogues
Spiral bound catalogues use a continuous plastic coil that threads through round holes along the spine, creating a flexible, durable binding that allows the catalogue to open flat and rotate 360 degrees. This practical binding method is widely used for product guides, training manuals, reference catalogues, price lists, and any publication that users need to prop open or lay flat on a surface.
At Perklets Print, we offer spiral binding in a wide selection of coil colours to match your brand or design theme. The continuous coil is highly durable and maintains its shape even with heavy daily use, making spiral bound catalogues the top choice for functional, working documents that need to withstand frequent handling.
Spiral binding accommodates a wide range of page counts and paper thicknesses, from slim 20-page product guides to comprehensive 300-page technical catalogues. The coil diameter adjusts to fit, ensuring smooth page turning regardless of thickness. Combined with our premium printing quality, spiral bound catalogues deliver both functionality and professional presentation.

FAQs: Spiral Bound Catalogues
What is the difference between spiral and Wire-O binding?
Spiral binding uses a continuous plastic coil that threads through round holes, while Wire-O uses a pre-formed double-loop metal wire through rectangular holes. Both lie flat, but spiral is more flexible and available in more colours, while Wire-O has a more formal, corporate appearance.
What coil colours are available?
We stock spiral coils in black, white, clear, red, blue, green, and yellow. Custom colours can be sourced for larger orders to match your exact brand colour.
How many pages can spiral binding accommodate?
Spiral binding handles catalogues from 20 to over 300 pages. The coil diameter is selected based on your document thickness. For very thick documents, we may recommend splitting into volumes.
Can I add tabbed dividers?
Yes, we can include printed tab dividers to organise sections within your catalogue. Tabs can be printed in full colour with rounded or straight-cut edges.
Is spiral binding suitable for mailing?
Spiral bound catalogues can be mailed, though the coil adds some bulk. For mailing purposes, we can use a smaller coil or recommend saddle stitching for a flatter profile. Poly mailer bags work well for protecting spiral bound catalogues in transit.
