Embossed Letterheads

Embossed letterheads add a three-dimensional, tactile element to your stationery that transforms the reading experience. Selected design elements — your logo, company name, a monogram, or a decorative border — are raised above (embossed) or pressed into (debossed) the paper surface, creating a subtle but unmistakable impression of quality.

At Perklets Print, we produce embossed and debossed letterheads using precision metal dies that create crisp, detailed impressions. Blind embossing (without ink or foil) creates a sophisticated, understated effect, while combining embossing with foil or ink adds both dimension and colour to the raised elements.

Embossed letterheads are the hallmark of premium corporate stationery — used by luxury hotels, law firms, financial institutions, and brands where the physical quality of every touchpoint reflects the quality of the business itself.

FAQs: Embossed Letterheads

What is blind embossing?

Blind embossing is embossing without ink or foil — the raised texture is the same colour as the paper. This creates a subtle, elegant effect that is felt before it is seen. It works beautifully on white and cream stocks.

Can I combine embossing with foil?

Yes, foil embossing applies metallic foil to the raised surface, creating a 3D metallic effect that is visually and tactilely stunning. Gold foil embossing on the logo is our most popular premium combination.

Does embossing work on thin paper?

We recommend 160 GSM minimum for embossing. Thicker paper (200+ GSM) holds the embossed impression better and provides a more pronounced tactile effect.

How long does the embossing last?

Embossing is a permanent impression in the paper. It does not fade, wear, or peel over time. The raised texture remains crisp for the life of the stationery.
