Sublimation T-Shirts
Sublimation printing is the gold standard for all-over, edge-to-edge t-shirt designs with unlimited colours and photographic detail. Unlike traditional printing methods that sit on top of the fabric, sublimation dye is infused directly into the polyester fibres, resulting in prints that are permanently bonded to the garment — they will never crack, peel, or fade.
At Perklets Print, our sublimation t-shirts are produced on premium polyester fabric that is specifically engineered for vibrant colour absorption. The result is a breathable, moisture-wicking garment with prints so vivid they look like the design is part of the fabric itself. This makes sublimation the preferred choice for sportswear, fashion brands, event merchandise, and any application where maximum visual impact is required.
From full-body photographic prints to intricate geometric patterns, sublimation gives you complete creative freedom with no colour limitations. Our cut-and-sew sublimation process ensures seamless coverage across the entire garment, including sleeves, side panels, and collar area — unlike standard sublimation that is limited to the front and back panels.

FAQs: Sublimation T-Shirts
Can sublimation be done on cotton t-shirts?
No, sublimation only works on polyester or polyester-coated fabrics. The dye bonds with polyester fibres at a molecular level. For cotton t-shirts with full-colour designs, we recommend DTF printing as an alternative.
Will sublimation prints fade or crack over time?
No. Because the dye is infused into the fabric fibres rather than sitting on top, sublimation prints are permanent. They will not crack, peel, or fade — even after hundreds of washes.
What is cut-and-sew sublimation?
Cut-and-sew sublimation involves printing the design on flat fabric panels before they are cut and sewn into a garment. This allows seamless edge-to-edge coverage including sleeves and side panels, unlike standard sublimation on pre-made garments.
Is sublimation suitable for dark-coloured t-shirts?
Sublimation works best on white or very light-coloured polyester. The dye is transparent, so it does not show well on dark fabrics. For dark garments, we recommend DTF or screen printing instead.
What is the minimum order for sublimation t-shirts?
Our minimum order for sublimation t-shirts is 25 pieces. Cut-and-sew sublimation has a minimum of 50 pieces due to the additional production steps involved.
